Prof. Dr. Bojana Rilke
Full-time Professor at Faculty of European Business and Marketing
Prof. Dr. Bojana Rilke was born in Osijek, Croatia, where she finished her primary and high school. She graduated at the Faculty of Law in Zagreb and at the Faculty of Economics in Osijek. She acquired her master of science degree at the Faculty of Law in Zagreb, having defended master thesis on prohibition of multinational company unfair competition. Prof. Rilke was awarded the degree of Ph.D. at the Faculty of Law in Osijek.
After her graduation in 1976, Dr. Rilke started her career at the Faculty of Law in Osijek where she participated in several scientific projects and conferences and seminars (Lovran, Opatija, Cavtat).
After moving to Belgrade, Dr. Bojana Rilke joined Inex-Interexport Holding Company, as an advisor to the Company President. While working in the economic sector, Dr. Rilke was involved in scientific work as well and published a number of scientific and professional papers.
During her nine years in Inex-Interexport, she actively participated in many conferences with her works, both at home and abroad - Kopaonik, Vrnjačka Banja, Donji Milanovac; Foreign Investments in Yugoslav Economy, Center for Mediterranean Studies, Kotor, 1996; Monetary Union as the Form of International Integration and Economic Cooperation between the Countries of United Europe, Center for Mediterranean Studies, Kotor, 1997.
In this period she published about 40 works: Some Issues on Establishing a Company in the European Union Internal Market, 1994; The Importance of the Court of Justice for Communitarian Law and Internal Market Development, 1996; European Union and Yugoslavia, 1994; Societas Europea – the New European Company Form, 1996; The Yugoslav Economy Re-Integration into the World Market Trends, 1997, etc.
Dr. Bojana Rilke is full-time professor at the Faculty of International Management, the member of the European University. Prof. Bojana Rilke took part in international conferences: – in Germany, “Serbia and Montenegro as German Tourist Destination”, German-Yugoslav Business Association Round Table, Düsseldorf, 2002; in Romania, “Sustainable Tourism”, International Congress “The Peace Architecture”, Baile Herkulane, 2003: In Belgium, “Management Education in Extended Europe, Permanent Electronic Conference of the European Academy of Informatization (EAI) and World Information Distributed University (WIDU), Brussels, 2003, (co-author with Prof. Dr. Milija Zecevic), etc.
Prof. Dr. Bojana Rilke published the books: “Tourism and Hotel Management – Management Approach” and “International Tourism and Hotel Management”. As a co-author with Prof. Dr. Milija Zecevic, the European University Rector, she published the book “Management”.
Prof. Rilke teaches Tourism Management, International Tourism Management, Ecological Toursim and European Tourism Management at Faculty of European Business and Marketing.
Prof. Dr. Bojana Rilke is fluent in English and German and has working knowledge of French.
